Fishing
Terrace is home to world-class fishing, and the Skeena River system offers unparallel opportunities for salmon, steelhead, and trout. Waterlily Bay Resort is ideally located within this river system, on the shores of Lakelse Lake, connected to prime rivers such as Lakelse River. For your fishing convenience, we have a boat launch and dock on site.
If you are 16 years of age and older, you need a license to fish recreationally in non-tidal water in British Columbia. If you are under 16 years old, you don’t need a license but you must abide by the regulations. For more information about fishing licenses and regulations, visit the BC government’s Fish and Wildlife Branch’s website. You can purchase a license online, at any FrontCounter BC office, or at a license vendor in Terrace (Fish Tales Tackle Shop, Misty River Tackle, or Canadian Tire).
Be sure to read and understand the BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations before you go fishing. You can download the most recent edition here.
